7 Day Re-enchantment: The Way of Practice Yoga Retreat in Canary Islands, Spain
Some retreats are about getting away. This one is about learning to notice what was there all along. Set against the raw volcanic landscapes of Fuerteventura in Spain’s Canary Islands, this six-night small-group retreat led by yoga teacher Robbie Cully explores yoga as more than physical practice. Through philosophy, movement, meditation, and time immersed in nature, the experience creates space to become more present—to yourself, your surroundings, and the everyday moments that can so easily pass unnoticed. Yoga practices weave together Hatha, Yin, Nidra, and somatic approaches, complemented by workshops, breathwork, sound healing, chanting, journaling, and reflective practice prompts. A cacao and music session brings another contemplative element to the week, while post-retreat support helps carry the exploration beyond the island. Fuerteventura itself becomes part of the practice. Hikes invite you into its elemental landscapes, while a private boat excursion offers a different perspective from the water. With approximately four and a half hours of planned activity each day, there is structure without filling every moment. Limited to just 6–12 guests, the retreat offers an intimate setting for shared practice and conversation while preserving space for personal reflection. This is less a traditional wellness holiday and more an inward-looking journey—one for travelers drawn to the philosophy of yoga as much as the poses, and curious about what might happen when they give themselves time to pay closer attention. **Best suited for:** Reflective solo travelers, yoga practitioners, spiritually curious wellness seekers, and those drawn to philosophy, meditation, somatic practice, journaling, nature, and intimate small-group experiences.
